๐๏ธ Signing up to Workup
Signing up to Workup is a very simple process. You can signup by following the signup link from the main workup website.
๐๏ธ Onboard Wizard
Once you have logged in as an admin user, an onboarding checklist will be shown on the home page. This provides a guide to the steps required to set up Workup for your organisation. There are six main steps shown below.
๐๏ธ Set up the Admin User
Each organisation requires an admin user that can fully configure the system; this is initially set to the user who first signed up and created the organisation but can be changed. The admin user is given permissions to access and modify all the data within the system.
๐๏ธ Configuring Your Organisation
You can configure your organisation using the Admin-Org Settings page. This page is only accessible to the administrator for the Organisation. The Org Settings page allows you to set some details about your organisation and gives guidance on setting up your organisation.
๐๏ธ Adding Users
Users can be created on the Admin - Users page. When creating a new user, they will be sent an email with a generated password that they must change on their first login. The email address for each user in Workup must be unique. When creating a new user, linked Employee and Resource records are automatically created for the user.
๐๏ธ Creating Your First Project
All time scheduled and recorded in Workup is logged against a project and an activity. A project can be customer facing, internal or a management project such as Finance or Administration. Workup creates some default management projects for you to log time against some standard activities.
