Using Filters
Most pages that list records such as employees, projects and tasks support filtering. By default, all records are normally shown but you can press on the Filter button to open up the Filter dialog.

Setting Filter Parameters
When pressing the Filter button, a dialog such as below will be presented that shows which fields on the page can be filtered on. Many of these fields support multi-selection. Select the values you want to filter by and then press the Apply button to apply the filter. Workup will remember the selected filter criteria whenever you enter the page. To reset and clear the filter, press the Reset button.

Saving and Using Named Filters
It is possible to save a set of filter criteria into a named filter which can be easily re-applied. To save the current filter criteria as a named filter check the Save this Filter checkbox and give the filter a name. The filter is saved and applied to the page when you press the Apply button.

To select a saved filter, press the Filter button and choose the Saved Filters tab. Press the save filter you want to apply and it will applied automatically. You can also delete saved filters from this tab. All saved filters are private for you and are nt shared with other users.
All named filters appear in the filter drop down list and can be applied by just selecting the named filter in the list.

Using List Pages
As well as supporting filtering, list pages have a range of other features:
- Sorting: clicking on a column header will sort the data based on that column (A-Z or Z-A)
- Choose Columns: clicking on the Columns button at the top of the page will allow you to choose which columns are displayed:
- Resizing: you can drag the divider between column headers to resize each column
- Reordering: you can drag a column header to reorder the displayed columns.
All these settings are saved so when you return to the page, the sorting, column selection, ordering and sizing will be reapplied.
Records can be viewed, edited (and sometimes deleted) by pressing the appropriate icon at the start of each row. This will normally open up the data item on a separate page. Pressing Close will return you to the list page.
